RecMaster Studio — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RecMaster Studio(the “App”), a product of Exeply(“we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, and protects your information when you create an account, sign in, and use the App. By using RecMaster Studio you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

RecMaster Studio is a desktop screen-recording application. The data controller responsible for your information is Exeply. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@exeply.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate your account and process payments:

• Account information. When you register, we collect your email address. If you register with an email and password, your password is stored only in a securely hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see or store it in plain text.
• Google Sign-In data. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile information — your email address, name, and profile picture — solely to create and identify your account. See Section 4 for the specific limits on how we use this data.
• Subscription and payment status. When you purchase a subscription, we store your plan type and the date your premium access is valid until. Card and payment details are handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never receive or store your full card number, CVC, or bank details.
• Your recordings and content. Screen recordings and files you create with RecMaster Studio are stored locally on your own device. We do not upload, access, or store the content of your recordings on our servers.

3. How we use your information

• To create, secure, and manage your account and sign you in.
• To provide, maintain, and unlock premium features of the App.
• To process subscription payments and confirm your premium status.
• To respond to your support requests and communicate important service or security notices.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Google user data — limited use

RecMaster Studio’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only request basic profile scopes (your email address and basic profile details) to authenticate you.
• We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service or data.
• We use Google user data only to sign you in and identify your account — never for advertising.
• We do not sell Google user data or transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the service, comply with the law, or as part of the sub-processors listed below.
• We do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

5. How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers (“sub-processors”) that make the App work, each acting on our behalf:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Stores your account record and subscription status.
• Stripe — payment processing. Handles your payment method and billing; see the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Google — sign-in provider, when you choose Google Sign-In.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and subscription information for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, transaction records for tax or accounting purposes).

7. Your rights and choices

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To request account deletion or exercise any of your rights, email us at privacy@exeply.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Depending on your location, you may also have rights under the GDPR, the KVKK (Türkiye), or similar laws, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

8. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls that restrict who can read your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of material breaches where required by law.

9. Children’s privacy

RecMaster Studio is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International data transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, where changes are significant, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
